I am a registered dietitian working as a Health and Wellness program manager for Midwest Dairy Council. My work takes me to schools across the Ozarks region, including Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. I love supporting schools in the area of health and wellness through our NFL/USDA partnership program “Fuel Up to Play 60.” It is exciting to help support students leading efforts to make a healthy difference in their schools and communities. I have seen firsthand how students have the leadership ability to influence key leaders for positive wellness changes. I believe kids will help combat childhood obesity among their peers through information, influence, great ideas and fun!

In my spare time, I love running and have completed two marathons and several half marathons. I’ll register for a race of just about any distance for the medal, the food and another t-shirt! I also love boating on Lake Ouachita near Hot Springs, Ark., and supporting my seven children in sports and other activities.
