Ashley Anderson is a Health and Wellness Program Manager for the Midwest Dairy Council, where she is responsible for promoting programs in schools like Fuel Up to Play 60 and serves as a liaison to health professionals and spokeswoman responsible for television, print and radio interviews in Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. As a registered and licensed dietitian, Ashley provides accurate, scientific and practical information on the benefits of dairy nutrition.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ashley is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Arkansas Dietetic Association.
Prior to joining the Midwest Dairy Council, Ashley worked for Arkansas Health Center as a clinical dietitian. She has also previously worked with schools and communities to promote nutrition and physical activity as a community health promotion specialist for the State of Arkansas.
Ashley enjoys spending time with her family by competing at horse shows, hunting, hiking, camping and rock climbing.
