Kelsey is the daughter of Kevin and Lori Buss. She attends Ridgewater College majoring in dairy management and is involved in Post Secondary Agriculture Student Organization and FFA. She enjoys showing cattle, riding her motorcycle, sewing quilts and playing with her dogs.

Valerie Grimm, 18, Carver County
Valerie is the daughter of Joel and Barb Grimm. She will be a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with plans to study health care. In high school she was active in show choir, National Honor Society and 4-H. She enjoys singing, dancing, playing piano, shopping, quilting and spending time with friends.

Victoria Haler, 18, Carver County
Victoria is the daughter of Rick Haler and Connie Haasken. She will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in international studies and Spanish. She was active in cross county, dance team, Student Council, International Club, National Honor Society and 4-H, and was a peer mentor. In her free time she enjoys dancing, spending time with family and friends, volunteering and enjoying Minnesota’s many lakes.

Meg is the daughter of Leonard and Jodi Hintzen. She attends the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities majoring in animal science with a dairy production emphasis. She enjoys reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends and dancing. On campus, she is involved in Lambda Delta Phi sorority, Gopher Dairy Club, and Block and Bridle Club.

Kirsten is the daughter of Vernon and Michelle Meier. She attends Ridgewater College studying dairy management, where she is active as a Ridgewater Ag Ambassador, a board member of the Post Secondary Agriculture Student Organization and a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. In her spare time, she enjoys swing dancing, ballroom dancing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, milking cows, driving tractor, hanging out with friends and family, and listening to country music.

Laura is the daughter of Amy and Dan Mesenburg. She attends the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire where she is studying biology for pre-medicine. Christine is the daughter of Paul and Carolyn Reitsma. She will attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities studying applied economics. She enjoys volunteering in elementary classrooms, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends and spending time with her cows. She is involved in FFA and its parliamentary procedure, general livestock judging, dairy judging and chapter officer teams. She is also an elementary religious education teacher.
