Rewards and Funds
A competitive, nationwide funding program is available for schools enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60. These funds can help your school jumpstart and sustain healthy nutrition and physical activity improvements. There will only be two funding rounds in the 2013-2014 school year. The first round funding application is now open with a June 4, 2013 deadline . The next funding deadline will be November 1, 2013. Learn more about this opportunity.
Ongoing Contests and rewards are offered throughout the school year to motivate program advisors and students to implement Fuel Up to Play 60 activities to support healthy changes in their school. Each contest has its own rules and parameters so keep checking back to see the latest opportunities!

The Farm to school contest ended on April 1 , 2013. Winners will be announced in the near future . We are excited to reward schools who are actively helping students learn more about dairy farming through Fuel Up to Play 60 Plays!

Fuel Up to Play 60 and the HealthierUS School Challenge Award
The Food and Nutrition Service and Fuel Up to Play 60 have formed a partnership, which recognizes Fuel Up to Play 60 as a great resource for schools wanting to become HealthierUS School Challenge (HUSSC) award winners. The HUSSC is one of the highest honors given to schools who have achieved nutrition and physical activity excellence.

Funds for Fuel Up to Play 60 Eligibility and Guidelines
Funds for Fuel Up to Play 60 may be used for school-wide promotional activities to support the program as well as for the implementation of specific Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Plays. However, larger funding awards are generally reserved for schools with plans for creating sustainable change in the school nutrition and/or physical activity environment.
