For Midwest farm families, state fairs are more than fun rides and food on a stick. Fair season is about connecting with other families and sharing their passion for dairy and agriculture. We invite you to connect with dairy farm families across the Midwest at your local fair.
Arkansas State Fair
In October, the Arkansas State Fair delivers nine days of fun, and Midwest Dairy works closely with 4-H clubs who provide displays in the dairy barn there. In addition, we provide breakfast for the dairy exhibitors and work with the Arkansas Farm Bureau to distribute dairy materials.
Illinois State Fair
The Dairy Building at the Illinois State Fair is the center of action each August, and Midwest Dairy Association provides the attractions there. Each year, the butter cow sculpture has a different theme, unveiled just before the fair begins.
Iowa State Fair
The Iowa State Fair’s agricultural history is evident each August, and Midwest Dairy Association’s role is key to the fair’s success. As a sponsor of the famous Butter Cow sculpture, we capitalize on the interest in all things dairy by serving products at two Dairy Bar locations.
Minnesota State Fair
The Minnesota State Fair is synonymous with butter sculptures, Princess Kay of the Milky Way, the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand and the Dairy Goodness Bar, all sponsored by dairy producers through Midwest Dairy Association.
Missouri State Fair
