What do you get when you combine a passionate program advisor and enthusiastic fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders willing to make changes in the way they eat and play? Almost an entire school full of kids participating in Fuel Up to Play 60.

Students at Eagle Mountain Elementary School are embracing Fuel Up to Play 60’s messages of eating healthy, exercising and making their school a better place, thanks to their Fuel Up to Play 60 team’s organization of two events: a “Heroes Breakfast” and the “Family Fitness Challenge.”

Lamar Elementary Physical Education teacher and Arkansas’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor of the Year, Michele Brown, set a goal to collectively decrease her school’s body mass index.
