Students at Walton Rural Life Center are wasting less food and paying more attention in class, thanks to learning about the foods they eat from local farmers and the implementation of fun in-school physical activities, all a part of their Fuel Up to Play 60 initiatives.
Fuel Up to Play 60 has taken Spaght Elementary by storm and inspired fitness among the student body through the addition of two popular intramural sports – basketball and soccer.
Fuel Up To Play 60’s student leaders at Gardiner Elementary were excited to spread the word about the program to their fellow students and teachers. So much so, that they even sported milk mustaches around school. They received many funny looks, but more importantly – also the question, “Why?”
