Cedar Creek Elementary – Lee’s Summit, MO

Apples, cheese sticks and broccoli – oh, my! In their first year of participating in Fuel Up to Play 60, students at Cedar Creek Elementary School are enjoying an increased variety of fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy options that are all available for both breakfast and lunch, thanks to the new grab-n-go options now available in their school’s cafeteria.

Rogers Middle School – Affton, MO

Kathy Beezley, Fuel Up to Play 60’s Program Advisor of the Year for Missouri, always encourages her students at Rogers Middle School to implement the healthy eating and physical activity habits they learn through the program outside of school time – especially during summer break.

Meadow Lane Elementary – Lee’s Summit, MO

Meadow Lane Elementary’s Nutrition Council harnessed the power of numbers to help implement one of the most important tenets of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program: starting the day with a healthy breakfast.
