Elementary students in Elkhorn Public Schools, including West Dodge Station Elementary, will have the option to buy breakfast at school for another year, thanks to a unanimous vote by the Elkhorn school board. In a 6-0 vote, board members voted to keep the program – which was implemented with the help of Fuel Up to Play 60 funding – in all nine of its elementary schools for the 2012-2013 school year.
Students at St. Bernard Catholic School in Omaha, Neb., have been actively engaged in Fuel Up to Play 60 program activities since forming their club in 2010.
