The Fuel Up to Play 60 committee at West Fargo High School wanted a say in what they were eating at school, so they took the opportunity to make some Plays. West Fargo students, along with some help from their staff, set into motion a taste test program with the ultimate goal of getting some tastier, and healthier, items onto the school's main breakfast and lunch lines.

The Fuel Up to Play 60 team of Valley City Junior/Senior High School in North Dakota and their advisors started with one goal: to increase the number of students in their school who ate breakfast. The team consulted the Fuel Up to Play 60 playbook and introduced “Smoothie Fridays.”

At Ben Franklin Middle School, in Fargo, N.D., the Fuel Up to Play 60 team introduced a healthy snack cart to make nutritious food options available to students after school.
