High standards of freshness deliver super sales. A strong freshness statement is a vital point of difference setting your dairy department apart from the competition.

Managing Dairy Freshness is a downloadable training program teaching managers that a department's overall freshness image is based on its staff's successful execution of four freshness principles:

  • Keeping the department clean
  • Proper code dating and product rotation
  • Talking to customers about freshness
  • Effective product presentation

This program teaches simple-to-use customer service, product knowledge skills, and effective food safety and merchandising techniques. This training session can be done in a self-study or leader-led format. "Certificates of Acknowledgement" are available for all associates who successfully complete the Managing Dairy Freshness course.
