Pinterest users have a new reason to give their Pinterest accounts a workout. Midwest Dairy Association, which works on behalf of 9,100 dairy farm families across the Midwest, has launched the Powered by Dairy Pinterest Contest to provide healthy recipes and nutrition tips for fueling an active lifestyle.
Be Our Guest Concert Raises More Than $15,000 to Purchase Dairy Products for Feeding South Dakota Network

Thanks to the support of hundreds of South Dakotans, dairy farm families presented Feeding South Dakota with a donation of $15,886 following a benefit concert on March 25. Dairy farmers invited the public to "Be Our Guest" at the Roots and Boots tour concert featuring Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw and Aaron Tippin at the annual Central Plains Dairy Expo for a $10 donation to Feeding South Dakota.

That gallon of milk you consider a staple in your refrigerator is missing in many of America's food banks. According to Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization, milk is one of the items most requested by food bank clients, yet there is a nationwide shortage because it is rarely donated. That will soon change with today's launch of The Great American Milk Drive.

On March 3, Fuel Up to Play 60 - the nation's largest in-school wellness program - along with Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign and Dean Foods, launched the It Starts With School Breakfast campaign to increase school breakfast participation nationwide.
