Kyla (KAY la) Mauk (MAWK), a 19-year-old college student from Howard Lake, Minn., representing Wright County, was crowned the 62nd Princess Kay of the Milky Way in an evening ceremony at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, August 26.

The winners of the first annual Iowa Quality Dairy Products Showcase were announced during an awards ceremony on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The competition is meant to showcase Iowa dairy farmers and their outstanding products.

Kate Stewart, an 18-year-old from Oelwein, was crowned the 62nd Iowa Dairy Princess during an evening ceremony at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines tonight (Wednesday, August 12). Stewart, daughter of Matt and Diana Stewart, will spend the year serving as a goodwill ambassador for Iowa's dairy farmers.

Dairy Goodness Bar malts at the Minnesota State Fair are a time-honored tradition, and fair-goers know they can expect mainstays like vanilla and chocolate, and favorites like apple-caramel and rhubarb-strawberry to appear each year. But this year, Midwest Dairy Association's menu will include the Salted Caramel Puff malt, which was chosen online by the public in the inaugural "Flavor of the Fair" contest.

There is lots to love for dairy enthusiasts at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair. Visitors to the Dairy Goodness Bar will be able to enjoy the winner of Midwest Dairy Association's inaugural "Flavor of the Fair" contest – the Salted Caramel Puff malt or sundae.
