Mike Kruger, CEO
Mike Kruger is CEO of Midwest Dairy Association, the dairy checkoff organization representing and funded by 20 percent of the nation’s dairy farmers.
Mike has 35 years of experience in dairy promotion and a lifelong devotion to the industry that started when he grew up on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota. He has managed the Midwest Dairy Association since 1985, overseeing its expansion from one state to 10 states.
Jerry Messer, Chairman
Jerry Messer of Beaver Creek Ranch farms in Richardton, North Dakota with three of his brothers: Mark, Greg and Scott and their spouses. Together the Messer family partnership milks 240 head of Holsteins, operates an 850-cow beef herd and farms an amazing 19,000 acres of corn, wheat, barley, oats and alfalfa.
