What does it feel like to be named the NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid?! Our Kansas Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador, Sophie, just had the experience of a lifetime! Sophie is a dynamic and bright middle school student passionate about health and wellness. So when she learned about the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest presented by Danimals, she flipped (literally- see her submission video here).

Only a few weeks later, she was surprised on Good Morning America where she found out she had WON the entire contest and was heading to Super Bowl LI in Houston! As if hanging out in New York City meeting media celebrities wasn’t enough excitement, she returned home to a supportive community ready to cheer her on.

Everyone wanted to know how Sophie was feeling as she was preparing to hand off the game ball at the Super Bowl. Sophie shared how her family felt, what her friends were saying and all of her thoughts on Mix 93.3 and Fox 4. She also had a second Live appearance on Good Morning America in preparation for the big game.

Take a look at Sophie’s journey to the Super Bowl on social media from the moment she found out she won, all the way to handing off the game ball:
