This sophisticated yet simple-to-prepare appetizer will dress up any cocktail party or social gathering.

  1. Cut cheese into slices, approximately 20 slices per 8 ounce block. Arrange slices in a flat 9 x 13 dish with sides touching. Mix remaining ingredients in a 2 cup measuring cup and pour over cheese slices. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Drain off marinade from the cheese slices, leaving the red and and green bits on cheese. Arrange the cheese on a serving plate with whole grain crackers or baguette slices. The leftover marinade (approximately ½ cup) may be used later on salads.
