For Chicken
- 6 skinless chicken breasts about 1½ pounds
- ⅓ cup whole wheat flour
- 6 ounces fresh mozzarella sliced
For Pasta
- 16 ounces whole-wheat pasta
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter melted
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon Sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon Sea salt
For Pasta
While chicken is cooking, cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, heat butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, parsley, basil and salt. Cook over medium low heat, stirring occasionally.
Drain pasta, reserving some of the pasta water. Add pasta to butter sauce and toss well. Add a few tablespoons of pasta water as needed to extend the sauce. Serve with chicken.
