Kansas State Fair

Experience the magic of the Kansas State Fair, where fun, food, and festivities collide for an unforgettable adventure! This annual extravaganza is a celebration of all things uniquely Kansan, from thrilling carnival rides and live music to mouthwatering fair food. Dairy is well-represented, and fairgoers have several opportunities to engage with dairy throughout the fair. The iconic Dairy Bar, operated by the Kansas Dairy Association, is a crowd favorite, serving up treats like hard-pack ice cream, soft-serve flavors, and even creative options. Visitors can also enjoy events like the Homemade Ice Cream and Topping Contest, and dairy foods demonstrations. For an educational twist, visitors can tour Agriland in the Pride of Kansas Building and visit with “Maybelle,” a life-sized model of a dairy cow, which offers a hands-on milking experience.

Step into Agriland at the Kansas State Fair and get ready for an agriculture adventure! While there, fairgoers engage with Midwest Dairy’s exhibit to learn more about milk’s journey from cow to carton and dairy farmers dedication to producing their favorite dairy products responsibly. Visitors enjoy interactive displays, play games, and learn fascinating facts about how dairy nourishes our bodies and supports our communities.
