South Dakota State Fair

While the fair might be full of carnival rides, fried food on a stick, and art exhibits, it’s also home to South Dakota’s Largest Classroom! Consider this field trip a great way to start the school year. Students will have hands-on experiences, learning about agriculture, science, and more. Midwest Dairy sponsors this yearly event, introducing students to South Dakota’s vibrant dairy industry.
South Dakota’s Largest Classroom is free to students, teachers, and chaperones. A free lunch is provided to those participating in the classroom. This event requires pre-registration.
