Grow Trust in Dairy2 minute read

During Hispanic Heritage Month in October, Midwest Dairy supported Dairy MAX in elevating a culturally rich influencer campaign tied to the launch of Nuestros Sabores, Our Flavors, a new digital cookbook created in partnership with Latinos and Hispanics in Dietetics and Nutrition (LAHIDAN). The free, downloadable cookbook celebrates the diverse culinary traditions of Hispanic and Latino communities while highlighting dairy-inclusive recipes that reflect family, culture, and flavor.

Supporting efforts like this aligns with Midwest Dairy’s focus on building trust through representation, authenticity, and meaningful storytelling, especially with audiences who value cultural connection and shared food traditions.

Bringing Culture and Dairy Together Through Influencers

To help bring the cookbook to life, Midwest Dairy partnered with three influencers from across its 10-state region. Each creator selected a recipe from Nuestros Sabores, Our Flavors and shared a video that combined cooking with personal storytelling rooted in their own heritage.

Rather than simply showcasing recipes, the content focused on why these dishes matter, how food connects generations, celebrates culture, and brings families together. Dairy played a natural role in these stories, showing up as an ingredient that supports both tradition and nutrition in everyday meals.

This authentic, creator-led approach helped the campaign resonate with consumers who value intention, representation, and real-life experiences, especially younger and multicultural audiences.

Strong Engagement and Measurable Impact

The campaign delivered strong results, demonstrating both interest in the cookbook and the effectiveness of culturally relevant content:

  • More than 6,000 click-throughs to the digital cookbook
  • Over 260,000 video views
  • More than 7,000 engagements across social platforms

These metrics highlight the power of pairing trusted voices with meaningful cultural content to connect consumers with dairy in a way that feels personal and relevant.

Celebrating Culture, Flavor, and Family Traditions

By supporting this multi-state effort, Midwest Dairy helped celebrate Hispanic and Latino food traditions while reinforcing dairy’s place in family meals. Campaigns like this strengthen trust, honor culture, and show how dairy continues to be part of the foods people love and share.
