SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Elections for the Midwest Dairy Corporate and Division boards were held during the organization’s annual meeting in Des Moines, Iowa, this week.
Elections for the 2024 Corporate board officer team are as follows: Charles Krause from Buffalo, Minnesota, was re-elected as chair of Midwest Dairy; Dan Hotvedt, Decorah, Iowa, was re-elected as first vice chair; Bill Deutsch, Sycamore, Illinois, was re-elected as second vice chair; Rita Young, Plainview, Minnesota, was re-elected as secretary and Matt Schelling, Orange City, Iowa, was re-elected as treasurer.
New members elected by their divisions to the Midwest Dairy Corporate board include:

Illinois Division
- Chair – Bill Deutsch, Sycamore

Iowa Division
- Chair – Lee Maassen, Maurice
- Vice chair – Jonna Schutte, Monona
- Secretary – Dan Dietzenbach, Fort Atkinson
- Treasurer – Pam Bolin, Clarksville
Minnesota Division
- Chair – Kristine Spadgenske, Menahga

- Secretary – Donna Telle, Uniontown, Missouri
- Treasurer – Orville Miller, Hutchinson, Kansas
- Heidi Wells, Milton; Darren Benfer, Longford; and Ted Bruemmer, Jefferson City were seated as new board members of the Mo-Kan Division board.
Nebraska Division

- Secretary/Treasurer – Jodi Cast, Beaver Crossing
North Dakota Division
- Chair – Sue Kleingartner, Gackle

- Jennifer Holle, Mandan, was seated as a new member of the North Dakota Division board.
Ozarks Division

- Treasurer – Mark Fellwock, Monett, Missouri
- Norris Sloan, Mountain Grove, was seated as a new member of the Ozark Division board.
South Dakota Division
- Chair – Marv Post, Volga
- Vice chair – Kevin Van Winkle, Canistota
- Secretary – Maartje Lemstra, Humboldt
- Treasurer – Jogchum Andrenga, Brandt
- Kevin Pearson, Flandreau; Dorothy Elliott, Lake Norden; and Riley Boadwine, Baltic were seated as new members of the South Dakota Division board.
