Unique Leadership Opportunity
The Dairy Ambassador Program is an educational and leadership opportunity for those who are passionate about dairy. Dairy Ambassadors will have the opportunity to connect with consumers and share dairy’s story while networking with their peers and industry professionals.
Dairy Ambassadors will spend a year representing dairy farmers in their respective states. At the end of their year, they are eligible to apply for scholarships. Learn more about the Ambassador program below.
How it Works
Dairy ambassador programs are available in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This one-year program, running from January 1 to December 31, offers ambassadors the opportunity to connect with consumers and share the dairy industry’s story, represent their state’s dairy farmers, and network with their peers and industry professionals. Ambassadors will earn a $100 stipend for every event they attend and will be eligible for a scholarship at the completion of their year.

Applicant Eligibility
To apply for the Dairy Ambassador program, applicants must:
- Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate in their state-specific post-secondary school, and 18 years of age by January 1 during the current program year.
