Midwest Dairy’s partnership with Godfather’s Pizza has continued to grow over the last several years, evolving from menu innovation into a broader partnership focused on driving dairy sales, consumer marketing, and dairy farmer storytelling.

In 2025 and 2026, the partnership expanded through the “Da Good Stuff” campaign, allowing Midwest Dairy and Godfather’s Pizza to tell a larger dairy story around a brand that already doesn’t skimp on cheese. The campaign has included a homepage takeover, regional launches, and co-branded assets used throughout the Godfather’s system.

Innovation was front and center for Godfather’s Pizza with the Poppin’ Pickle Pizza and the Banana Pepper and Sausage Trio, which delivered major flavor and new fans through Godfather’s Express locations. These flavors were popular and gained organic social content.

The Larson farm family opened their doors to the Godfather’s Pizza media team and filmed on-farm content at Larson Farms in Creston, Nebraska. Bob and Kelsey Larson’s farm is a multigenerational dairy dating back to 1919, with four generations of the family involved and around 350 cows. A big part of their story was how the farm has evolved while remaining family-focused, including their robotic milking barn. The shoot captured the family, cows, robotic milking, equipment, animal care, and the broader story of the people behind dairy.

In June 2026, the new Godfather character spent the day with the Engelmann family at Classic Dairy in Jansen, Nebraska. That gave us a second Nebraska dairy farm family to feature and allowed the Godfather to experience dairy farming firsthand.

The content from both Nebraska farm families is designed as a larger series rather than one-off farm visits. It supports Godfather’s consumer-facing introduction of the new Godfather character while showcasing modern dairy farming and the families contributing to the broader dairy supply. More to come from this work in 2027!

Altogether, the work with Godfather’s Pizza has generated 5.85 million incremental pounds of milk since 2024.

The partnership continues to evolve beyond individual promotions. Midwest Dairy is working with Godfather’s on additional consumer touchpoints, including yet another opportunity to connect consumers with the dairy story.

What started with menu innovation has grown into a partnership that brings together innovation, marketing, consumer engagement, and dairy farmer storytelling, all while keeping dairy at the center of a brand already known for doing one thing especially well: not skimping on the cheese.
