Midwest Dairy partnered with Kroger Precision Marketing during the 2025 holiday season and January 2026 to promote dairy through two integrated digital campaigns that encouraged consumers to purchase dairy products for holiday gatherings and protein-focused meals.

The results from these promotions are in. The seven-week holiday campaign highlighted butter, cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream with messaging centered on being the “Holiday Hero.” A second campaign in January, developed in partnership with Dairy MAX, promoted yogurt, milk, and cottage cheese as protein-rich options.

Together, the campaigns reached 3.8 million households across Kroger-owned banners, including Dillons, Baker’s, Gerbes, Mariano’s, and Kroger, delivering more than 17.2 million impressions. More than 72% of households exposed to the campaigns converted to dairy purchases, resulting in over 9 million attributed units sold and more than 81,000 new households making dairy purchases.

The campaigns generated more than 16 million incremental pounds of milk sales, demonstrating the impact of targeted retail partnerships in increasing dairy demand and driving measurable sales.
