Midwest Dairy partnered with Scooter’s Coffee locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon, Tea, Madison, Brookings, Vermillion, and Harrisburg, South Dakota, to support 415 local teachers through the “Clear the List” campaign ahead of the new school year.
The campaign encouraged customers to round up their drive-thru purchases or scan a QR code on in-store flyers to contribute to teacher wish lists. Messaging reminded guests that “Your local dairy farm families are excited to support local teachers in the classroom!” With support from Midwest Dairy, Prairie Farms, and Scooter’s Coffee, customers helped raise $24,000 to fulfill teacher wish lists.
This was Midwest Dairy’s first partnership with Scooter’s Coffee, and it delivered impressive results. During the campaign, which ran July 28 through August 12, Scooter’s saw a 6.43% increase in average ticket growth year-over-year, 11.52% overall sales growth, and a 6.43% increase in ticket count.
Beyond the numbers, the campaign generated a wave of appreciation from teachers who shared a heartfelt thank-you on Instagram and TikTok. The success of this partnership has sparked a strong relationship with Scooter’s Coffee. Both organizations are eager to explore additional opportunities to highlight the importance and impact of dairy in the community.
