Midwest Dairy and other ag commodity groups across the state kicked off 2024 by working with Missouri Farmers Care (MFC) on their public-facing campaign and partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals during the 2024 season. This partnership allows loyal Cardinals fans to connect with different aspects of Missouri’s agriculture industry.

Bethany Bloss of Fulton, Missouri, will be featured as the dairy farmer for the 2024 season. Recently, Bloss participated in the campaign kick-off by recording two 30-second radio ads and joining a photo and video shoot. These materials will be used to connect with fans in different ways throughout the season. This campaign will focus on nutrition, lactose intolerance, and animal care to build trust with Generation Z consumers while discussing how farmers care for their cows.

Through this work, there are several opportunities to reach Midwest Dairy’s target audience. There will be “Race to the Plate” mascot races with the “Farm Team,” including Sweet Bessie, throughout the season, and dairy will also be featured individually on May 17. The MFC and Cardinals partnership will also reach consumers through an on-farm video featuring Bloss, GameDay Magazine print ads, Cardinals scoresheet ad, and a growth poster giveaway on Sunday, June 23. Join in the excitement as the Cardinals’ season starts on Thursday, March 28!
