To kick off the end of the year, Midwest Dairy partnered with Casey’s General Store to offer an Online Rewards App deal during December. Customers who participated in this online offer earned 50 bonus points by purchasing a pint of fresh milk. Casey’s General Store is an Ankeny, Iowa-based retailer with over 2,500 stores in 17 states.

This promotion utilized messaging highlighting a tasty and refreshing milk pairing with any of Casey’s delicious bakery items. This promotion appealed to shoppers of all age groups, drawing them into the dairy and bakery sections throughout the entire day. This online app deal reached over 6.5 million Casey’s loyal app customers and resulted in over 10,630 redemptions in support of our local dairy farmers.


Midwest Dairy also worked with Jewel-Osco in December to drive incremental milk purchases. This week-long promotion offered Jewel app users the opportunity to save three dollars on a family-size Oreo pack by purchasing a gallon of Kemps milk. The dairy category manager at Jewel worked with his team to determine the offer and brands included. Also included in the promotion was a fun recipe that encouraged shoppers to purchase additional dairy products along with their milk. The offer was shared in the weekly ad along with Jewel’s digital app. As a result of the activation, over 7,000 incremental pounds of milk were sold.
