Midwest Dairy teamed up with ESPN for a behind-the-scenes farm tour at Lenkaitis Holsteins, hosted by dairy farmers Sara and Andy Lenkaitis!
Sara gave the ESPN team an up-close look at life on the farm, sharing how today’s dairy farmers care for their cows and work to build a future for dairy.
The tour also gave us the perfect opportunity to celebrate June Dairy Month and shine a spotlight on the International Year of the Woman Farmer – recognizing the leadership, passion, and impact women like Sara bring to agriculture every day.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a complete farm visit without a little fun! ESPN’s Chicago-based podcast host, Pat the Designer, got to interact with Sara and experience the farm firsthand, creating some great moments and bringing an authentic, engaging perspective to the story.
