Midwest Dairy proudly sponsored the 2025 North Dakota Nutrition Council (NDNC), providing key opportunities to engage with nutrition professionals statewide and elevate dairy’s role in health and sustainability conversations.
As part of the sponsorship, Midwest Dairy was recognized at the NDNC Annual Conference held in April, which welcomed 75 nutrition professionals under the theme “Generations of Health.” The event featured discussions on food, agriculture, and nutrition, making it an ideal platform to keep dairy top of mind for educators and health advocates.
Midwest Dairy provided Cows Come First bags and distributed a Professional Resources Guide with curated links to dairy nutrition and sustainability materials, reinforcing the dairy industry’s relevance in professional practice. Beyond the conference, the sponsorship also includes three quarterly placements through NDNC’s Facebook page or member listserv, allowing Midwest Dairy to share research-based messaging on dairy’s nutritional value and sustainability impact throughout the year.
Midwest Dairy also made a valuable connection with Dr. Nathaniel Johnson, a nutrition professor at the University of North Dakota and a known dairy advocate. As a conference speaker, he encouraged Midwest Dairy to submit a Food Systems/Sustainability session for next year’s event to deepen understanding of dairy’s role in sustainable food systems.
This strategic sponsorship supports Midwest Dairy’s mission to inform and equip health professionals with the most current, science-based dairy information, while helping ensure that dairy remains part of the nutrition conversation across generations.
