During the month of April, Midwest Dairy partnered with Coborn’s to celebrate the sustainability efforts of dairy farmers and drive incremental sales of dairy products. Coborn’s owns 53 supermarkets across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin and operates under Coborn’s, Cash Wise Foods, Save-A-Lot, and Marketplace Foods banners.
Research shows one of the key issues Generation Z (Gen Z) and Parents of Gen Z are interested in is sustainability. Because of this, Coborn’s went big in April by sharing stories and examples of how dairy farmers are dedicated to sustainability and how all farmers are working to be better in this area as they have implemented sustainability practices on their farms for decades. Included in this campaign were weekly emails, Facebook and Instagram posts, Banner ads on their website, Kids Cook at Home Cook-A-Long show (seeing the largest class to date!), TV news show support, in-store intercom messaging, gas station TV messages, and in-store signage.
