To celebrate the end of summer, Midwest Dairy partnered with Hy-Vee to promote refreshing ice cream treats, reminding shoppers to “Scoop up real goodness.” Hy-Vee, a grocery retailer from West Des Moines, Iowa, has over 285 stores across eight Midwest states.
During August and September, consumers were drawn to the “shop now feature” on Hy-Vee’s aisles online website, email, and social media sites through targeted search banner ads. These ads highlighted summertime fun, back-to-school events, and family gatherings and encouraged shoppers to include ice cream treats at these functions. The banner ads included lactose-free options to attract all shoppers.
This promotion netted over a half million impressions, with more than 7,000 click-through activations, and delivered over 286,000 Incremental pounds of milk. Partnering with Hy-Vee to promote tasty dairy ice cream products with lactose-free options highlights their commitment to innovation, diversity, and customer service.
