The 2025 National Holstein Convention brought together dairy producers, industry leaders, and enthusiasts to St. Louis, Missouri, from June 23–26. Among the attendees were several Midwest Dairy representatives who used the event to grow as agricultural leaders, promote dairy, and engage with fellow Holstein advocates.

Midwest Dairy attendees included:

  • Kendra Anderson, Illinois Farmer Relations
  • Haley Bode, Illinois Farmer Relations Intern
  • Shayden Hogg, Illinois Dairy Ambassador
  • Tracy Behnken, Nebraska Farmer Relations
  • Ron Grusenmeyer, Missouri Farmer Relations
  • Stacy Dohle, Missouri Farmer Relations
  • Mariah Busta, Iowa Farmer Relations

Throughout the convention, Midwest Dairy had a strong presence on the tradeshow floor, hosting an interactive booth and helping run the popular Dairy Bar. The Dairy Bar featured products from Holstein producers nationwide, offering attendees the chance to enjoy ice cream, sample new products, and connect with peers.

At the booth, Midwest Dairy staff connected with farmers, families, and students to share the organization’s mission and farmer-funded programs. Attendees also snapped fun, themed photos to commemorate their time in St. Louis and the celebration of all things Holstein.

Illinois Dairy Ambassador Shayden Hogg and Illinois Intern Haley Bode participated in a breakout session led by Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), exploring the latest dairy trends and consumer preferences. They learned how shoppers are responding to innovative dairy products and were especially intrigued by how the body processes proteins in traditional vs. lactose-free milk.

The National Holstein Convention was more than just a gathering—it was a dynamic space for learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Midwest Dairy’s participation underscored its ongoing commitment to education, innovation, and building trust in dairy, from the farm to the consumer.
