In April of 2023, Midwest Dairy partnered with Price Chopper Enterprises to reach their audience by promoting three different recipes: Vanilla French Toast with Honey Butter, Honey Whipped Ricotta and Strawberry Toast, and Spinach, Feta, and Sundried Tomato Chicken Wrap. All three recipes were developed by Ariel Johnston, RD of The Tasty Balance. This recipe collection can be found here. This digital and print recipe campaign overlapped Earth Day and promoted sustainability by using the “What You Do, Dairy Does Too” messaging.
Price Chopper distributed the recipes through email, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. There was also an ad in the spring edition of the Gatherings Magazine featuring the Honey Whipped Ricotta and Strawberry Toast. In addition, Price Chopper worked with their vendor community to support the campaign in their digital circular ad.
For this campaign, Midwest Dairy partnered with the Kansas City Mom Collective (KCMC) to further promote and reach parents of Generation Z in the Kansas City metro. KCMC shared two recipe Reels to their Instagram feed and directed their audience to shop for the recipe on mypricechopper.com. KCMC also featured a leaderboard (website header) on their website and sent an email blast to their distribution list featuring the recipes and the Dairy Does Too infographic.
