Having access to nutrient-rich foods is important for students and for the entire community. The Fuel Up to Play 60 Fight Hunger Play-in-a-Box explores the issue of food insecurity and introduces students to how they can be a part of the solution. This kit acts as a supplement to and helps to better prepare you and your team for the FUTP 60 Fight Hunger Play. It includes the Educator Guide to walk you through all of the lessons and activities found in the kit, as well as extra content: pre-assessment questions, reflection questions, facilitator tips and answer keys.

  • Fuel Up to Play 60 Farm to School Play-in-a-Box Kit

The Fuel Up to Play 60 Farm to School Play-in-a-Box takes you and your students on the journey milk takes from the farm to the fridge. Bonus: The activities will also help you check off the Farm to School Healthy Eating Play! This kit has two parts: Education (learning about local foods in the area and understanding their benefits) and Implementation (bringing locally produced food and dairy into school in a practical way).  The included Educator Guide will walk you through all of the lessons found in the kit, as well as extra content: pre-assessment questions, reflection questions, facilitator tips, and answer keys. Additional resources and optional homework assignments are also included.

  • Promotion in Action – June 2020

Since consumers are spending increased time in front of screens during the pandemic, dairy farmers and staff have been nimble, working collaboratively with ag coalitions and dairy groups to engage consumers virtually. Whether through story times on the farm, social media campaigns, virtual farm tours or dairy-focused videos, our focus on working with and through partners to reach consumers remains at the forefront of our work. Throughout National Dairy Month and all year long, Midwest Dairy remains committed to drive dairy demand and sales.
