Promotion in Action: November 2025

As 2025 winds down, Midwest Dairy’s latest Promotion in Action newsletter highlights the many ways dairy farmers and partners are making an impact locally, nationally, and globally.

CEO Corey Scott opens this edition with reflections from the IDF World Dairy Summit in Santiago, Chile. Joined by Midwest Dairy leaders Charles Krause and Tom Walsh, Scott underscores how U.S. dairy is positioned to help meet rising global food demand. Insights from U.S. Dairy Export Council President Krysta Harden and Missouri dairy farmer Alex Peterson emphasize the role of innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in shaping dairy’s future.

Closer to home, Midwest Dairy continues to grow trust in dairy through creative community connections. Illinois farmers took center ice at a hockey game to share how local farms produce safe, nutritious food. In Nebraska, fourth graders discovered how dairy fuels fitness and healthy habits. Dairy’s role in science education also shone at state and national STEM conferences, where teachers engaged with interactive lessons.

Nutrition professionals experienced dairy innovation firsthand at a major national event, while influencers shared authentic stories about animal care and sustainability with younger audiences. Seasonal dairy flavors at Kwik Trip proved to be a hit, driving more than 564,000 incremental pounds of milk sold.

Finally, farmers gained practical tools through Midwest Dairy webinars focused on strengthening digital presence and crisis preparedness.

Important updates include extended deadlines for DEAL and Ambassador program applications (now due December 15) and notice of the Promo Center’s annual inventory closure from December 12 to January 5.
